Radiant Energy Systems is an industrial and commercial HVAC manufacturer's representative based in Wixom, Michigan, serving Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana since 1977. We work with mechanical contractors on design-build and plan-and-spec projects, producing heating and ventilation load calculations, equipment layouts, and specifications, and we supply the equipment those projects require: Roberts Gordon infrared tube heaters, Energy Jet unfired makeup air, direct-fired and indirect-fired makeup air, AQC dust and fume collection, exhaust and ventilation equipment, and replacement coils.
Equipment is installed by mechanical contractors, and facility managers who contact us directly are connected with a contractor in their area.
We are also a distributor for Oxbox residential furnaces and air conditioners.
How we work with mechanical contractors
You bring us the scope. We produce the load calculations, equipment layouts, specifications, and energy comparisons that go into your bid, and there is no design fee for that work. Our expertise is built into the equipment we represent rather than billed separately.
We work both sides of the market: design-build projects where we help develop the system from the beginning, and plan-and-spec work where we help you win on more than price.

History
Radiant Energy Systems was incorporated in 1977 by David and Mike Kuehnl, becoming the Detroit area distributor for Roberts Gordon tube heaters. Soon after, our expertise grew to include all industrial HVAC equipment.
From the start, customer service has been the focus of business for this team. Radiant Energy continues to satisfy requests by responding quickly and providing knowledge and guidance to our clients and contractors.
In 2021, Radiant Energy expanded into the residential HVAC market and became a distributor for Oxbox Heating and Cooling Systems.

For specialty parts and designed equipment, we can ship directly to you, or ship to our warehouse for pickup at your convenience. We deliver, too!
